Animal Farm, by George Orwell (Book Review)

A funny tale about a farm that goes rogue? Or a small truth to government in our past and maybe future?

Animal farm starts out with a small, ordinary, farm. What your would expect with a farm too, animal at work for there master. Humans. The animals feel that they shouldn’t have to work for another, but for themselves. The pigs decide to take charge and all the animals drive out the humans! A government forms at the farm. Speaking of which, is no longer just a farm, but Animal Farm.

I really enjoyed this book. George Orwell wrote this book to show how government is. In the book the pigs from parties and they hold voting poles. From my point of view, the pigs are the authorities in our government. There are things going on that the rest of the farm doesn’t know about. Like rules that agreed on together, being changes in the night… This book i think was a good way to show how the world is and could be like in a funny and easy to remember story. I enjoyed it and hope you do too!

I would rate this book a 8 out of 10, and for ages 10-11, there isn’t really anything to advanced in this book, but to understand it better, i would recommend for those ages.
