90 Minutes in Heaven, by Don Piper (Book Review)
Pastor. Father. Husband. Friend. Everything seems to be going great for Don Piper. Until he is on his way across a bridge, when him and his car is crushed by a semi truck. Instantly Don is killed and goes right to Heaven and experiences what eternity is like, only to be sent back 90 minutes later to his own pain and mangled body. In this book you experience Don Pipers own description of the car crash, what heaven is like, his pain, break through and how what he himself went through helped so many around him.
90 Minutes in Heaven is a good book. It is very cool and really fills you with hope when you read it and hear about Heaven. And it really inspires you to share the book as well as the gospel with others who might not be going to Heaven, and if you have someone in mind, I would share this book with them. It was so cool to see how his family responds to the crash, with him having three kids it must have been hard, but the way they respond is to impactful. I can't even imagine what this guy had to go through and what others like him have to go through in recovery so that was really amazing to hear about.
This book was kind of slow and kind of "depressing" for the guy at some parts, so I would recommend it for 11 yo to adult. I would also give it a 7-8 out of 10 for those reasons too. Its not a super long book, it took longer for me because I was reading a lot of other books at the same time. I would encourage you to read it and to share it with others!
