A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (Book Review)

A Christmas Carol story follows the life of an old miser, named Ebenezer Scrooge. He is a sad, gumpy, hurt old man who lives his live only for his own pleasure. He finds himself without a family, and, his former business parter being died, very lonely around Christmas. The only person in his life being his employee. But it is Scrooge's fault, he doesn't want help, pity, or love from anyone. One Christmas Eve night, Scrooge learns from three Spirits, past, present and future, how to be kind, how he is not being kind and what will happen if he's not…

I really enjoyed this book, I love how it shows what Jesus and happiness can do in our lives and Charles Dickens shows that in a funny storyline. My family quote the book and movie all the time, Christmas season or not and I read it every year around Christmas time. It’s good storyline and it's a short read. I would recommend it for 11-12 and up and I would rate it a 7 out of 10!
