My Favorite Books (Mid-year Updated list & Fall TBR)

Happy Fall! Okayyyyy, yessss. It’s a little further than mid-year, but I need break from catching up on my drastically behind book reviews and go totally girly pop and share my “mid-year” book favs. This may or may not consist of strictly this year’s reads, and more just overall, we’ll see. And no, these aren't in order.
  • Of Love And Treason, by Jamie Ogle—Are you a book crier? And I am not talking about teary-vision-misty-eyed “book crier”. I am talkin’ about sobbing-I-need-tissues-red-eyed-moments where you don’t know if you-want-hug-or-throw-the-book-across-the-room book crier. Well, neither am I—until this book. Review to come!
  • The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins—Um, yes. Forever and always, no matter how cringy that sounds. And this still sort of counts for this year reads too, cause I actually reread the first two books last month, so yay. CLICK HERE to read my very, very, very much in need of an update reviews.
  • The Inheritance Games, by Jennifer Lynn Barnes—Talk about the most booktok-y I could get, but yes. This is one of the more recent series I've read this year, and it’s one of my new favorites. Mysteries, riddles, it’s like reading Sherlock Holmes—oh wait…*cheekiness*. Ahem, but you get what I mean. It is definitely a series I can’t wait to type my thoughts out on.
  • The Grandest Game, by Jennifer Lynn Barnes—The companion series to The Inheritance Games, yes, but undoubted better in my opinion. And the second book made the first book better, so what can I say. The fact the final book comes out next year is trying my patience. A continuation of  The Inheritance Games, another one I am excited to jot my thoughts down on soon. This is one of my all time favorite books, period. Also the thumbnail of this post #Mimosa
  • The Lunar Chronicles, by Marissa Meyer—Every girl has seen Cinderella at least once, right? How about Cinderella as a dystopian? How about Cinderella mix with space? Sci-if? No? Well now we have. A series of retellings of fairy tales and princesses, truly enjoyed by me these past months. Reviews to come!
  • Nicole Deese—I have to just label her herself, cause there are too many of her books that I just loved. Christian romances that I am almost always in the mood for. CLICK HERE to see my reviews so far of what I’ve reviewed on this year, and keep an eye out for more whenever I get the chance to release them.
  • Arc Of A Scythe, by Neal ShustermanThis book was one of those that challenged my thinking of other books I had read in the past. The whole world he created is one of my all time favorites. Definitely worth the read. And the covers! Trust me, they only get better. CLICK HERE to read more!
Honestly, there are so many more, but if I say them all this post will end up being a mile longgg. These are just the most memorable for me personally, but there are so many others that are amazing that will just end up making this post too long to share.
But now for TBR time…

Fall TBR

  • The Warrior’s Curse, by Jennifer Neilsen
  • Reached, by Ally Condie
  • Maze Runner, by James Dashner
  • Snowglobe, by Soyoung Park
Share what I should read next <3

Tally ho,
Finlee
