Another Book Haul (Book Thrifting)
Another haul? Yes. I need more books? Always.
Me and my fellow book fanatic (along with our amazing driver) took a trip around our local area, and picked up some great books from a couple local thrift and book shops:

When I was at this thrift store the other day, I saw this set of four out of the sixteen books in the series, all hard cover—but wasn’t sold on getting them, being that I already had a lot in hand. Well, clearly I wasn’t ment to get it that day—On this trip to the same store, the whole set was in the free bin *hallelujah*.

I have personally never read James Herriot’s All Creatures Great And Small, but I’ve heard a lot about it and watch the TV show. I found this book and thought it sounded very similar to it, and just a informative, heartwarming, little novel. I’m really excited to see what kind of book it shapes up into.

Amish, Hallmark-ish, cringy love story? Yes, please.
My friend found this book in the free bin, and said I should grab it. How could I resist? Yes, I didn’t realize it is the third book in the Annie’s People series, but it was free—the joy of thrifting.

Rebecca is the book I think I am most excited about in this haul. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and when we found it at the bookshop we went to—it was an easy no-brainer purchase. Even just hearing about the genre and author’s amazing writing, it one that I was so excited to read, and immediately went on my TBR.
Books, even just their smell immediately makes my soul purk up. I have so many plans for going out for more amazing thrift and bookstore hauls, and always am looking for new recommendation. CLICK HERE to read more.
Sm fun!!! Can't wait to do it again :) I'm really excited to start that Rebecca book!
ReplyDeleteApparently there is a movie as well—a romantic thriller.
DeleteWhaaattt??? Jealous!! lol in my churches Library theres a lot of Frank Peretti and I'm thinking of picking one up. Theres also a amish cringe love story lol called the "Cousins Promise" lol. Have fun reading!
ReplyDeleteOoo! Peretti’s books are definetly heavy reads.
DeleteDoes “A Cousin’s Promise” happen to be by Wanda E. Brunsetter”?
yeeahhh, lol should I read it?
DeleteI’ve only ever heard of it. I definetly sounds like a cringe contemporary romance, with a faith written in—could be good, if you like those things lol
