Dinner with a perfect Stranger, by David Gregory (Book Review)

Nick Cominsky doesn’t know who sent it to him. He doesn’t know if it’s a prank. All he knows is that he is on his way to a local restaurant to have dinner with a man claiming to be Jesus of Nazareth. And the only information he has is a invitation to go to Milano’s restaurant on Tuesday for a later dinner. During their long conversation over a dinner, Nick hears the truth, and impactful reality of God’s love for us, from Jesus Christ’s very own mouth…

This book was really interesting to read. Nick, doesn’t believe in Jesus. So it was interesting to see the point of view from someone who doesn’t have Faith, and the very simple questions that Nick asks that turn out to mean so much. Hearing the question from someone who doesn’t really know a thing about Jesus and being able to talk face-to-face was really awesome to see. Something’s in this book I have already learned about in my life, but different things were pointed out in this book that really brings a lot more into view. Like different things about other religions, God’s love for us, the reality of Heaven and Hell, eternity and so much more. I would recommend this book for 11 yo to adult and I would rate it a 9 out of 10! It is a very quick read, and really impactful, interesting and well done! If you know someone who doesn’t believe, I would share this book, it might really impact them. It’s really good!
